There are different home or natural remedies to be taken to get rid of cough, here are some of them.


GINGER Ginger is made up of anti-inflammatory properties , it helps to soothe irritation and also cleanses the respiratory organs. Method Cut and grind a piece of ginger into powder and then mix it with water and boil  it. Drink it thrice daily for a fast relief.

HONEY Honey is one of the most effective remedies to get rid of cough. It is made up of  anti-microbial, anagelsic and anti-oxidant properties which helps to get rid of mucus and relieve sore throat.

Take one teaspoon of raw honey thrice daily and see it’s effects.



Garlic contains a powerful content called allicin,it is also made up of anti-viral and anti-microbial properties  which helps to eliminate cough fast.

Add few cloves of garlic  to a glass of water  and boil . After it cools,drink it 2-3 times daily for a faster relief.

THYME Thyme gets rid of cough by relaxing the muscles of the bronchi and trachea which helps to  open passages for air.
